First off, this is obviously not an original artwork, all credit and such go to Blizzard and anyone else who was affiliated with the creation of StarCraft, I do not in anyway claim credit (aside from the microsoft paint copy and paste job) for the creation of this piece.
That aside, these pylons are here to charge my avatar, the photon cannon, so it actually will (figuratively) work. Oh yeah, in case you've never played StarCraft the Protoss (race who owns the cannon) can never have enough pylons.
The repetition makes an interesting effect on this simple video game sprite. It reminds us that while we may all have been turned the same by pop culture, we still have a purpose in life. Plus, the colors are well-coordinated together, and they seem brighter on the black background. If one looks at this piece with a practical mindset, it feels unfinished; namely, the fact that you don't have enough pylons. As an avid Starcraft player, you must know that you always need more pylons. At the same time, though, is it necessary for all those pylons to charge a single cannon? It feels overdone.

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
